We are seeking a highly motivated individual to take up this key role within the organization, working primarily within the Marketing team. We envisage that the successful applicant will have the enthusiasm to evangelize Alfresco within the Open Source Community to drive:

  • Downloads – Alfresco Community, Alfresco AppExchange, Forge
  • Contributions – Alfresco Code, Alfresco Forge, Application Exchange, Translation, Demonstrations
  • Membership – Alfresco Forums, Wiki, Alfresco Content Community
  • Community Support – Forum support from Forum Members

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to expand on their existing skill set with the opportunity to specialize in open source web technologies and ECM over time in an organization that is redefining what enterprise content management means in the current technological environment.

Essential skills

  • Track record of building a strategy and executing that strategy to build a strong developer community
  • Solid experience in the following areas: Web 2.0, Wiki, Blogs, Forges, Application Exchanges
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Excellent communications skills – Presentation to large Technical Audiences
  • Excellent Blogging Skills
  • Outstanding organizational skills and project management experience: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Results-orientation
  • 10+ years relevant experience in software industry
  • BA/BS

Desirable skills

  • Prior experience with ECM company preferred
  • Open source experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, nimble environment
  • Self Motivated and directed
