Alfresco, EMC, IBM, Microsoft, SAP, Open Text and Oracle jointly announced the submission of CMIS, a draft specification for interoperability of content management systems but only Alfresco has a draft implementation available today.
Join us on October 9th to learn about CMIS and other exciting features of Alfresco Labs:
- Support for the Microsoft Office SharePoint protocol
- Surf, Alfreso's web application development platform
- Share, Alfresco's collaboration application, an open alternative to Microsoft SharePoint
- Support for social collaboration through the repository API
In the afternoon, you can choose between two breakout sessions; a business track with case studies and best practice presentations and a technical track with an in-depth look at CMIS, Surf and Share from the engineers who developed them.
We'll wrap up the day with an informal networking session where you will have an opportunity to interact one-on-one with Alfresco engineers and with other community members.

Registration
This is a complimentary event, but space is limited so please register early to avoid disappointment. Attendees will be required to cover costs incurred for their travel and accommodation.
