Alfresco Expands Americas Team to Meet Enterprise Demand
Expertise Added to Nourish Growing Base of 2,500 Global Organizations
London, UK - September 4, 2012 - Alfresco, the cloud connected content platform, today announced three new strategic appointments as well as the expansion of its Atlanta, US headquarters. New hires include the appointment of Bill Goodson as Vice President of Public Sector Sales, John Kenyon as Regional Vice President of Americas Channels and Alliances as well as Ken Munro to the role of Regional Vice President of Enterprise Sales West.

In his role, Bill Goodson will manage Alfresco’s federal sales and consulting initiatives in North America. Over the past 20 years, Bill has held various executive level positions for Adobe, PeopleSoft, Autodesk and Sybase building and leading successful government sales teams. In each position, he built top-performing sales units that significantly increased revenue year-over-year. Throughout his career Bill has demonstrated a keen ability to establish and nurture strategic partnerships with system integrators, the consulting community and reseller partners to increase market share and boost sales.

Ken Munro joins Alfresco with over 20 years of sales leadership experience, most recently at Nimsoft, a Division of CA, where Ken headed the West and Central Regions leading the company’s revenue performance. Prior to that, Ken gained experience in enterprise content management (ECM) successfully leading teams across the US for EMC’s Documentum. Under Ken’s direction, Commercial and Enterprise Sales organizations lead the US in performance with consistent year-over-year growth.
John Kenyon is based in the Alfresco Atlanta office and in his role will be responsible for the sustained growth of Alfresco’s reseller and systems integrator (SI) partners. John has spent the majority of his career leading both sales and channel organizations at companies such as Honeywell, Alventive, Interwoven and Fios. He has worked in the ECM software space for the last 13 years, where over ten were spent at the combined acquisition of iManage, Interwoven and Autonomy. As VP of Channels and Alliances at iManage, John was responsible for the significant growth of its ECM partner ecosystem including reseller, SIs and key technology alliances.
Along with these strategic hires and the expanded Atlanta office, Alfresco has also grown its global workforce by 70 percent while at the same time added more than 70 channel partners.
