Are FDs paying too much for their IT?
As news of an impending economic downturn dominates the media, FDs are feeling the pressure to find ways to minimise potential impact on their business. An obvious solution is to drive efficiency across their business and cut overheads wherever possible, including a reduction in IT investment. In fact, analyst group Gartner estimates that in the next 12 months, businesses will cut IT budgets by about 10 per cent due to a grim economic outlook.
