Alfresco’s Dr Ian Howells to Speak at UK Open Source Forum
Session to report on results of the Alfresco Open Source Barometer Survey and Open Source adoption trends in the UK

Alfresco Software today announced that Ian Howells, CMO, will present at Red Hat’s Open
Source Forum in London on May 14. His session, entitled “Open Source
Barometer” will outline trends in UK open source adoption and report on the
results of Alfresco’s Open Source Barometer survey.
Alfresco's unique survey tracks trends in the open source community, examining
how enterprises evaluate, test and deploy both open source and proprietary
software around Alfresco’s enterprise content management system. The survey
provides unprecedented levels of detailed information on their software
infrastructure, including operating systems, application servers, databases,
browsers and portals.
The 45,000 members of the Alfresco community are surveyed
on a biannual basis with the aim of providing a leading indicator on enterprise
