Zia Consulting has developed a native iPhone application that allows mobile access to an Alfresco document repository.

This application runs against the most recent Alfresco releases (tested on 3.0, 3.1.x, and 3.2.x); no additional software needs to be installed on the servers and no configuration of Alfresco is required.

• Browse document libraries
• Full-text search for documents
• View most common document formats, including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Apple iWork files (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), PDF, Plain Text, Image Files
• Save “favorite” files to the phone for offline access (when cell service and wifi are slow or unavailable)
• Attach documents to outgoing emails
