Community Innovation

Alfresco Summit 2014 LogoRegistration for Alfresco Summit 2014 is now open. This year Alfresco Summit is happening in San Francisco on September 23, 24, & 25 and in London on October 7, 8, & 9. Between now and June 30 you can take advantage of the early-bird rate.

As we’ve done in the past, the first day, Tuesday, is for those who would like to take advantage of one of several full-day training classes (including end-user training). For those that don’t need training but want to get their geek on, there will also be a full-day hack-a-thon happening Tuesday in both cities.

The main conference starts on Wednesday and runs a full two days. And I think “full” is a great way to describe it. Let me tell you a bit about what to expect from the agenda.

We’ll kick things off with a warm welcome from Alfresco CEO Doug Dennerline and then move right into some exciting product announcements. After that, business and technical tracks run all day.

The business tracks kick off with a general session given by a Gartner analyst on the state of ECM, business process management, and collaboration. The next two days in the business tracks will be filled with real world customer stories and other sessions full of practical examples, best practices, and advice for anyone seeking business value out of their content-centric and process-centric applications and solutions.

The technical breakout sessions also run for two full days in parallel. You’ll learn what’s new from a technical perspective in Alfresco 5, search, Activiti, reporting, DAM, Records Management, and mobile. Whether you are an administrator looking for practical examples around performance, scalability, migration, or disaster recovery or you’re a developer wanting the latest on the Share Aikau customization framework or innovative ways to leverage and integrate with other technologies, the technical tracks have something to offer everyone.

This conference is a summit in every sense of the word: People from around the world from a variety of industries and backgrounds, business and technical, customers, partners, engineers, and contributors, all in the same place to learn, share ideas, network, and have fun. You won’t want to miss it. Register today!
