We have a few new faces here at Alfresco San Mateo, and among them is Robert “Bob” Crissman, our new Vice President of Global Channel Sales.
If that name sounds familiar, that’s shouldn’t be a coincidence! Bob is an award-winning channel, marketing and sales executive with over 20 years of experience at global technology companies. His focus areas are go-to-market planning and execution, marketing strategy, demand generation, lead management and organizational transformation.
At Alfresco, Bob is responsible for building out a world-class channel sales engine that will drive accretive revenue for the company. He’s been hard at work implementing a predictable channel program, robust through-partner marketing and tight integration between Alfresco’s direct sales assets and partners’ sales teams.
Bob joins us from VMware, where he was Senior Director of Partner Sales and Marketing. During his time at VMware, Bob ensured the company had appropriate partner capacity in place to drive its IT as a Service strategy across all routes to market. He also led the renewals business in a channel-centric and more scalable manner, making him a perfect fit for his road ahead here at Alfresco.
Prior to VMware, Bob spent 14 years at Microsoft, starting as a product manager and leaving as the general manager of the worldwide partner group, where he led the teams responsible for developing the future of the partner program, specifically based on Microsoft’s long-term product strategy.
Bob holds a master of business administration in marketing from University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business and a bachelor of science in business management from the University of Southern California. In his spare time, he is an avid college football fan (Go Irish! Go Trojans!), half-marathoner and skier.
