Alfresco Names Bill Robinson Vice President of Americas

20 Year Industry Veteran to Lead North American Sales

LONDON—March 4th, 2009 — Alfresco Software, Inc. today announced Bill Robinson's appointment as vice president of the Americas. With over 20 years of software experience, Robinson will be responsible for managing and scaling Alfresco’s growing North American sales operations. Robinson takes over the reins from Matt Asay, who led Alfresco’s groundbreaking US expansion and who will now focus on expanding Alfresco’s business development initiatives and strategic partnerships.

Bill has a proven track record in creating high-value channel partner ecosystems which will compliment Alfresco’s open source business model.”

Robinson has extensive experience growing successful sales organizations. Previously, Robinson was senior vice president of global sales for Witness Systems, a leader in workforce optimization solutions, where he grew sales by $100 million contributing to their $1 billion valuation. Prior to Witness Systems, he was vice president of North American operations for Actuate Corporation, a world leader in enterprise reporting applications. Robinson was also vice president of North American channels and vice president of North American sales for Business Objects, a world-leading provider of business intelligence software solutions. Robinson also held positions with Cognos, Group 1 Software and Triad Systems Corporation.
