Alfresco Honored in EContent 100 for Fifth Consecutive Year
Alfresco’s Open Source ECM System Recognized for Increasing Impact on the Digital Content Industry
LONDON — November 23, 2010 — Alfresco, the open platform for social content management, has been named to EContent magazine's 2010 EContent 100 list of “companies that matter most in the digital content industry” for the fifth consecutive year. Selected by a panel of 10 EContent editors, contributors and other industry experts, companies were evaluated based on innovation and meeting customer needs in a rapidly evolving industry.

“With this year’s EContent 100 list, we looked to recognize the drivers of the today’s ever-changing digital content market,” said Michelle Manafy, Editor-in-Chief of EContent magazine. “Because of the company’s continued commitment to developing innovative new tools and functionality, Alfresco Software certainly earned its continued place on our list.”
Alfresco has seen major adoption of its ECM system throughout the world, having earlier this calendar year closed the 2009 fiscal year as the company’s most successful to date. The company currently has more than 1100 enterprise customers, over 270 SI and OEM partners, and has surpassed the 2.0 million downloads mark. Most recently, Alfresco launched Community 3.4, the next version of Alfresco’s content management platform, which brings collaborative web development and new tools for spring developers to market.
