Alfresco Software Outpacing ECM Market Growth as a Whole in New Gartner Market Share Report

Alfresco grew more than 3x the 8.6% growth rate of the ECM market

San Mateo, CA – June 18, 2014 – Fueled by a differentiated hybrid model and open-source DNA, Alfresco Software today announced that it grew at more than 3x the rate of the enterprise content management (ECM) market in 2013 based on revenue.1 Alfresco has been named a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for five consecutive years 2 and its content management works across cloud, mobile, hybrid and on-premise environments. In the new report, Market Share Analysis: Enterprise Content Management, Worldwide, 2013, Gartner, Inc. reported that The ECM market grew 8.6% in 2013 to a worldwide market size of $5.1 billion. 3

Per Gartner, “The ECM marketplace is attracting new vendors and expanding at both global and domestic levels. New capabilities in support of mobility, user interface design, packaged application integration, search and content analytics are expected from vendors.” 4
