Alfresco’s Web Content Management Capabilities Attract Leading Media and Entertainment Companies

Company Strengthens Position as Leading Alternative To Proprietary Enterprise Content Management Systems

LONDON—November 13, 2007 – Alfresco Software, Inc., today announced that leading entertainment and media organizations are adopting Alfresco’s Web Content Management (WCM) software to power their dynamic and interactive Web 2.0 sites. Sony Pictures Imageworks Interactive and Film Solutions LLC have joined the growing list of entertainment and media companies that have chosen Alfresco’s open source software to help power their businesses. Alfresco’s entertainment customers also include video game companies such as Activision and Electronic Arts, as well as Sesame Workshop.

“Our Alfresco-supported online production tools will truly change Hollywood culture by automating many of the labor intensive, paper-based management functions that film and television production houses are using today,” said Kevin Matossian, founder, Film Solutions, LLC. “We chose Alfresco as our content management platform because it is open source and met our requirements for scalability and flexibility. None of the other solutions we considered even came close in terms of value to cost.”

Winning these latest customers in entertainment and media caps another successful quarter for Alfresco, strengthening its position as one of the most mature open source companies in business today. Alfresco has seen its customer ranks swell to more than 300, its community grow to 20,000 registered participants, and its open source ECM software downloaded 700,000 times.
