Kainos Evolve® and Alfresco announce strategic partnership to provide best-in-class content and process management to healthcare providers and partners
Belfast/London/Boston – February 24, 2016 – Kainos Group plc (KNOS), a leading UK-based provider of IT, consulting and software solutions, and Alfresco Software, the leading open-source provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, today announced a partnership to extend the capability of the Evolve Mobile-Enabled Healthcare platform. Kainos Evolve and Alfresco will showcase their solutions at Stand #10651 at the HIMSS Annual Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas on February 29 to March 4.
Announced in August 2015, the Evolve Mobile-Enabled Healthcare platform improves patient care through better management of structured and unstructured clinical information and by providing access to appropriate care and patient record data to medical practitioners, care givers and patients. Alfresco’s Enterprise Content Management and Business Process Management solutions will underpin information management, collaboration and care process automation in Evolve. This will allow customers and partners to build and change care pathways on the existing Evolve platform and meet the ever-increasing needs of healthcare delivery.
The Evolve platform is designed to meet the increasingly dynamic requirements of the diverse and fast-changing healthcare market. The need to move care from acute hospital settings to home or to the community, combined with innovations in tele-health means that healthcare providers need a more flexible infrastructure than was previously available.
